The problem

Regulated money products have to know who their customers are, but onboarding is where most people give up, especially on entry-level phones and patchy networks.

How it works

Liveness on the device. A native bridge brings biometric liveness and ID-document capture into the mobile app, tuned for low-end Android, so a selfie and an ID photo are enough.
Verification by specialists. ID checks run with a verification provider through signed requests and asynchronous callbacks, so sensitive biometric data is handled where it belongs rather than accumulating on our own servers.
Gates, then access. Phone OTP, identity status and AML checks gate what each customer can do, from browsing to investing to withdrawing.
Built once, used twice. The same capability later powered hosted KYC links for Yuki's partners.

Why it matters

Compliance done well is invisible. The aim was an onboarding flow a first-time investor could finish in minutes, without lowering the bar the regulator sets.
